 Alfio F.
Saglimbeni, MD graduated from the University of Messina Medical School in
Italy in 1959. He came to the United States in January 1962. He completed
his post-graduate studies at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Newark, New
Jersey and at French Hospital and Children’s Hospital in San Francisco,
California.
He started practicing family medicine in April 1966 in San Jose and has
continuously practiced since that time. His first office was on Lincoln
Avenue in downtown Willow Glen, and he moved into medical offices at 2101
Forest Avenue in 1975. He was the first physician to move into that
building, which had previously been a school for nursing.
After he started his practice, he took the National Board in Family
Practice and became board certified. He has been board certified for more
than 30 years.
He has been happily married to Nina for almost 45 years, and is the proud
father of three sons, (Anthony, Phil, and Sal) and one daughter (Maria), and
the proud grandfather of 12 gorgeous grandchildren. |
