 A.J. Neibel was
born and raised in Cupertino, and attended Cupertino High School and

repair his shoulder, he went through months of physical therapy. It was then
that A.J. decided to make Sports Medicine a career.
While at Long Beach, A.J. received his B.S. degree in Sports Psychology.
He continued his education and received his Physical Therapy Assistant
degree at Cerritos College. In 2000, A.J. also received his certifications
as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National
Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and Certified Personal Trainer
through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Recently, A.J. has
received his certifications as a Level 1 Olympic lifting coach and level 1
sprint coach through the United States of America Weightlifting (USAW) and
Canada/USA Olympic.
Currently, A.J. has been splitting his time with South Bay Sports and
Preventive Medicine Associates and assisting with the Strength and
Conditioning staff with the Oakland Raiders. He also spends his time
assisting with the head athletic trainers at both Bellarmine College
Preparatory and Valley Christian High Schools. All of this could not be
accomplished without his loving and understanding wife, Amy, and daughters,
Lauren and Morgan. |
